Skiff Sports Reporter of the Week!

I was awarded the distinguished honor of Skiff Sports Reporter of the week! With only 16 weeks in the semester I am proud to have been honored, but now I'm shooting to be sports reporter of the week twice!

The Society of Professional Journalists comes to TCU

On Sunday, the Society of Professional Journalists came to TCU for an all day conference on finding careers in journalism. 

I made numerous connections at this conference. One of the most memorable moments was getting some one on one time with investigative reporter Brett Shipp. Seeing his passion was a true inspiration. 

I learned invaluable lessons at the Convergence break out session. I found myself some new Twitter followers, and learned how to use Twitter as a tool to commit 'acts of journalism.'
